Merseyside Police is continuing to appeal for the public’s help to trace an 18-year-old man from Wirral who is wanted on recall to prison.

William Smith, of Connaught Close, Birkenhead was sentenced to two months in prison on 16 June 2017 after being convicted of assault. He was released on licence on 16 July 2017.

Smith is wanted by officers after he failed to comply with his license release conditions and was recalled to prison on 4 August 2017.William Smith

 

Extensive efforts have been made by the police to find him but he remains outstanding and officers are requesting the public’s help to find him.

Smith is described as white, of slim build, around 6ft tall, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who has seen Smith, or who knows of his whereabouts, is asked to call Merseyside Police on the 101 number. People with information can also contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111
